The 1 thing I absolutely love about this knife is the blade positioning, I can top cut my carpet pad, not dig into the roll, I can cut my head seams with out cutting into the fur, I can trim walls with it and it comes out CLEANER than with a wall trimmer, faster too. That’s not all though, the double button locking mechanism is quick and easy to lock in blades roll them, or replace them. All the time I’ve ever spent messing with my carpet knife opening and closing it, sometimes dropping blades everywhere, no longer a problem. The blade storage is HUGE. You can fit a rack of carpet blades, a couple utility blades and a hook blade in there and it still shuts safely.
