And another fantastic tool, the wall wiper. I used to be a wet rag guy, but my hands would get pruny, and gross wiping my base that way, the base we constantly used is builder grade, so it requires more finesse to apply, the wall wiper evenly distributes the glue, I don’t use spreaders I do beads at the top and bottom and one wipe down with the wall wiper cleans the base, spreads the glue behind the base evenly, and is less wear and tear on your hands, which counts for a lot of you’re in a time crunch and exhausted. The wheels do not scratch, and spin freely. My favorite feature of this tool is the ergonomic design to fit your hands, this allows you to apply pressure horizontally to the wall. Oh, and if you’re worried about the wheels hitting the toe, they don’t, even on inside rounded walls. Highly recommend this tool combined with covebase dolly, it’s actually fun to do covebase again lol
